The Houston Area Fiber Artists (HAFA) juried exhibit, “Focus on Fiber” opened on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the 18 Hands Gallery in Houston, TX USA. The fiber works of many talented fiber artists are included in the show and may be viewed until September 30.

There are so many beautiful pieces in the collection –
Your “Transformation” is simply stunning! What did you use to get that beautiful blue?

  Hello g! Much of the dark blueish colors originate from botanical Ryukyu indigo leaves that I grow in my studio dye garden in Houston, TX. Thank you for visiting my website. I appreciate your thoughtful comments!
